Model Amber Rose accused singer Beyoncé of copying a speech at Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign event in Houston (USA).

On her personal page on October 26, Amber Rose wrote: “She wants to be me so bad. Literally took my entire speech.” The model’s post appeared after Beyoncé appeared at Kamala Harris’ campaign event the day before.

According to PageSix , both speeches touched on the importance of motherhood and the impact on voting. On October 25, Beyoncé said in her speech : “I’m not here as a celebrity or a politician. I’m here as a mother who cares about the world our children live in – where we have the freedom to control our bodies, not divided by the past, present or future. Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what’s possible.”

In July, at the Republican National Convention (RNC), Amber Rose also introduced herself as a mother. “My whole world revolves around raising my children, keeping them safe, and giving them a chance at a good life. That’s what unites American parents, Republican, Democrat, conservative, and liberal. We all want a better country for our children,” Rose said.

On Instagram , many people criticized the model’s actions. Some wrote: “Sorry, Beyoncé doesn’t even care about you”, “So Amber is the only mother in the world”, “Not just Beyoncé, I think every mother during the voting period is thinking about their children”. On the other hand, many said they were disappointed that Beyoncé left Kamala Harris’ campaign without singing a song.

In 2013, Beyonce sang the national anthem at President Barack Obama’s inauguration. Three years later, she and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, held a pre-election concert for Hillary Clinton in Ohio. The dancers wore blue suits in honor of the woman who could become the first female US president.

Ahead of the October 25 event, Beyoncé showed her support by allowing Kamala Harris ‘s team to use her music in the campaign. In July, the artist agreed to let her use her song ” Freedom” when she visited the presidential campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. A source close to CNN said Beyonce’s team made the decision hours before she stepped out to greet the crowd. She continued to use the song at a rally in Wisconsin the next day.

Beyoncé , 43, is one of the world’s most successful artists with over 100 million records sold worldwide. Throughout her career, the singer has won many awards such as Grammy, Billboard, MTV, American Music Awards. Forbes magazine has twice honored her as the world’s most powerful woman in entertainment in 2015 and 2017. She is also the person who has won the most Grammy awards with 32 golden trumpets, counting from her time in the groups Destiny’s Child and The Carters (with Jay-Z). Beyoncé married rapper Jay-Z in 2008, and has three children – Blue Ivy Carter, 12, and twins Rumi and Sir Carter, six.

Amber Rose, 41, is an American model. She gained attention after starring in Young Jeezy’s music video Put On , which featured Kanye West. Rose has dated famous rap stars such as 21 Savage, Kanye West, and was married to rapper Wiz Khalifa from 2013 to 2016, with whom she has a son. In 2019, she had a son with rapper Alexander “AE” Edwards.

In 2016, Rose criticized former US President Donald Trump in an interview, saying: “He’s weird. I really hope he’s not president.” However, in May, Rose said he supported Trump in the 2024 US presidential election.
