Charlotte Crosby was subjected to a terrifying armed robbery at her £1million Sunderland home on Thursday night.
The former Geordie Shore star, 34, who is eight months pregnant, was upstairs with her two-year-old daughter, Alba, when a gang of balaclava masked raiders entered the home, her fiancé Jake Ankers revealed.
Taking to Instagram, a furious Jake said: ‘I can’t believe I’m saying this but some little c***s have tried to rob my house with my two-year-old and my partner who is nearly eight months pregnant, armed with a machete.’
Jake, 33, said he chased all four of the robbers out of the house, but was unable to catch them.
He added: ‘One of them who was in the house at the top of the stairs had a red balaclava on. He is the one that had the machete. Me little girl’s in the house. Me partner’s in the house.’
The businessman urged his followers to send in any information.
Charlotte, meanwhile, had said a film crew had been present in the house that day as they filmed their reality TV show.
Her last Instagram story before the raid was of her relaxing in bed with a face mask on after suffering excruciating back pain and a nose bleed earlier in the day.
MailOnline has contacted Charlotte’s representative and Sunderland Police for comment.
The couple moved into the house together in 2021 and renovated the sprawling property which was said to be worth in excess of £1million.
They named the property, which has an indoor pool, bar and cinema, ‘Crosby Manor’.
In a YouTube video at the time, the reality star showed off her beautiful home renovation which featured double dark wood doors and marble floored lobby.
The couple put up the four bedroom home for sale in February this year and also bought a holiday home in Spain.
Charlotte announced in September she is pregnant with her second child, a girl, and is due to give birth in January.
Just 12 hours before the terrifying raid, the television personality had a pregnancy scan.
Charlotte told followers she feels like ‘my back has been snapped in half’ and had suffered a nasty nosebleed.
She said: ‘Ok so I need advice suggestions just anything because honestly my back feels as though it’s been snapped in half. My back, my ribs everything.
‘We had a scan yesterday and the midwife stressed her sympathy for me as baby girl was in a very, very awkward position.’
Charlotte asked fans for help, telling them: ‘I’m struggling to even sit upright in a chair without being so uncomfortable’.
She then shared a picture of a bloody tissue with the caption: ‘Now I’m having the biggest nose bleed, what the hell is going on?’
The NHS states nosebleeds are common in pregnancy and are caused by an increase in blood volume and hormonal changes.
Hours later, Charlotte took to her Instagram stories to tell fans she had been ‘rocking back and forth’ for an hour in the morning trying to help the baby move.
She said: ‘When I say I have been on all fours rocking bath and forth for an hour this morning to try to get the baby to move position. That is no word of a lie. I was worried someone might walk in on us because the crew were actually in my house filming stuff for the show.
‘I’m having a little bit of pamper now, I feel like the pain has worn off a little bit. That was from your advice so thank you. I’ve been laying in bed relaxing in bed which has been bliss.’
Speaking to The Mirror this month, Charlotte admitted she’s ‘very tired’ and struggling with being pregnant while also looking after her toddler.
She said: ‘I hate being pregnant. I’m getting very tired now. The second pregnancy is just so different when you’ve got a tiny toddler at home.’
She went on: ‘The hardest part is being pregnant. I’m used to being able to give 100 percent, and now I’m operating at a maximum 30 percent.’
Last month, Charlotte revealed they are having a baby girl in a gender reveal video at the Maldives.
The TV personality and her fiance let off cannons which shot off pink smoke, prompting a stunned Charlotte to exclaim: ‘Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh no, Jake.’
Looking bewildered, she went on: ‘I can’t believe it, But I actually really wanted a boy as well. What, how?’
The reality star had previously revealed she was convinced she was going to have a boy.
Charlotte and Jake, who met through mutual friends, became engaged thirteen months after welcoming daughter Alba.
The TV personality took to her social media to share the happy news as well as a glimpse of the romantic rooftop proposal in Dubai in November 2023.
Charlotte declared herself the ‘happiest woman in the world’ as Jake got down on one knee surrounded by rose petals.
The television personality rose to fame on the MTV reality series Geordie Shore in 2011 and featured in 12 series of the show.
She became known for an on/off relationship with fellow cast member Gary Beadle.
In 2013, Charlotte entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and went on to win it and made a fortune off her fitness DVDs.
Within a month of her first workout DVD released in 2014, it became the sixth best-selling fitness DVD of the decade.
Charlotte went on to star in a string of other reality shows including Australia’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, their version of The Masked Singer and Celebrity MasterChef.
The reality star got her own BBC3 series Charlotte In Sunderland which follows her family life and business.
Her personal company is worth a whopping £2.26million, with the star running many businesses including her fitness app Blitz ’n’ Burn, clothing and bag range called Pepper Girls Club and photography studio.
