We are the Champions! LeBron James and the Lakers made history with the first NBA In-Season Tournament championship

The Los Angeles Lakers won a dramatic victory over the Indiana Pacers with a score of 123-109 in the NBA In-Season Tournament finals taking place this morning (Vietnam time). In particular, Anthony Davis was the brightest star of the match, scoring 41 points (the most), 20 rebounds and 5 assists. “Veteran” LeBron James also played a very important role in the gameplay and played excellently, scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists.

With this achievement, the Los Angeles Lakers are the first team in history to win the NBA In-Season Tournament championship.

NBA In-Season Tournament was officially announced from mid-2023, is a small tournament, taking place mid-season. This tournament was created to increase the entertainment of the NBA, providing better experiences for fans. The tournament is played in a cup format, including group rounds and knockout rounds.

There are 30 teams participating, divided equally into 6 groups according to the regional draw format (each group has 5 teams and each team plays 4 matches). The top 6 teams in each group and the 2 second-place teams (1 team in each region) with the best records will also enter the knockout round. The semi-finals and finals will take place on neutral grounds. Matches in the In-Season Tournament (except the final) will be counted as a ranking match in the Regular Season.
